Boys & Girls Clubs of the Colorado River helps over 1,300 kids develop essential skills, make lasting connections and have fun. Club members experience a safe place to learn, play and grow, supportive relationships with caring mentors and enriching programs, experiences and activities.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko
Boys & Girls Clubs of Elko has provided a world-class Club experience in Northeastern Nevada since 1999, with a focus on teaching good character and citizenship. Clubs offer afterschool care and summer programs to youth from kindergarten to 18 years old at branches in Elko, Spring Creek and Wells. The Club operates two Nevada Gold Mines Early Learning Centers at the Elko and Spring Creek Clubs to serve infants from six weeks to pre-kindergarten. In addition, the Club runs the largest youth soccer, volleyball, and basketball programs in the county and the adult softball league. Work is currently underway to build a recreation and events center to further focus on community quality of life.

In its 25th year of service, the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe currently serves close to 2,000 youth ages 4 to 18 years old from the North Lake Tahoe-Truckee region. The Club operates in Kings Beach, CA, two school-based sites in Truckee, CA and a school-based site within Incline Elementary School in Incline Village, NV. Across all sites, Club members can participate in before and after-school programs, summer camps, sports leagues, theatre productions, community service, and more! Members have access to a free meal and/or snack daily. Fees for services are kept low to ensure that all children in the North Tahoe-Truckee region have access to high quality programs in crucial out-of-school times. Scholarships and payment plans are available.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Western Nevada has been serving youth in Carson City for 30 years and Carson Valley for nearly 12 years. There are two locations, serving 1,400 children and teens. Clubs are unique in that we provide homework help, STEM programming, arts and crafts, sports clinics, literacy programs, teen leadership development, free meals, and basic needs for our kids and families. Over the past 10 years, the organization has served nearly 20,000 kids, provided almost $900,000 in scholarships and served about 800,000 meals to youth in our communities. The Club also provides free transportation. Efforts are underway to impact our communities even more with a new location coming in late 2024.

With 13 Club locations, affordable rates, and fun activities for kids and teens, Boys & Girls Clubs of Southern Nevada is your solution to before and after-school care. The Clubs are open to youth ages 6 to 18 in 1st to 12th grade with a one-time annual membership fee and weekly programming fees, with scholarships available so no child is ever turned away. Focusing on the priority outcomes of Academic Success, Good Character & Leadership, and Health Lifestyles, the organization offers nationally recognized programming to provide youth and teens with a path to their great future.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Mason Valley has been serving youth in rural Northern Nevada since 1998. Our clubhouses in Yerington, Dayton, Silver Springs and Hawthorne provide youth opportunities they cannot access anywhere else. With early learning centers, a traditional clubhouse experience and teen centers, the organization supports 1,500 members a year, 500 a day, from infancy all the way through high school graduation.

Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows serves nearly 14,000 youth, ages 0-18 years old, in 40+ locations across Reno, Sparks, Fernley, Ely, Tonopah, Panaca, and Winnemucca. Truckee Meadow Clubs are safe, fun spaces for kids to go before and after school, during school breaks, and during the summer to grow beyond the classroom. Boys & Girls Clubs are different from other out-of-school programs in that paid, professional staff deliver mentoring and structured programming around the organization’s core values: Character & Leadership Development, Sports Fitness & Recreation, STEM, Art and Health & Life Skills. Clubs also act as a resource center for families and the community; free meals and basic supplies are provided to those who need resources. No youth is ever turned away from the Club due to an inability to pay. The Club is also home to several sports leagues, including Teeny Tots (soccer, basketball, T-ball, and gymnastics) for 3 to 5-year-olds, K-8th grade boys and girls’ basketball, flag football, specialized sports clinics, and more.
